iHop Has Cancelled It's Annual National Pancake Day

Well, this is a bummer.

On Tuesday (February 16), IHOP revealed its annual National Pancake Day has been canceled this year. Don't worry, though, it's not all bad news. The pancake change will instead issue customers an “IOU” that they can redeem throughout the month of April.

So even though National Pancake Day will look different this year, IHOP customers will still be able to get their free short stack pancakes. In order to ensure you get your IOU from IHOP, make sure you're signed up for theMyHOP appby March 31, 2021. All MyHOP users will receive a single-use coupon for a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes throughout the month of April. The coupon can be redeemed in-restaurant or to-go via IHOP.com or the IHOP app. If you're not a MyHOP member, you can still redeem a free short stack throughout the month of April with any $10 purchase in-restaurant or to-go via IHOP.com or the IHOP app.

In addition to celebrating pancakes with a free short stack, guests can also make an on-check, in-restaurant or online donation for as little as $1 to support IHOP’s national charity partner, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and other local charities including Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, throughout the month of Apil.
