The 50th Annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is coming October 1st through 9th
And while admission is the same as last year, organizers expect the cost of food to rise this year due to inflation.
For over two decades, Chile Traditions owner Ken Dewees has fed hungry spectators from near and far at the nine-day event. It's a labor of love he enjoys.
"Getting everybody that New Mexico taste of food. Everybody comes from all over the world and they want to have red chile, green chile," Dewees said.
But because of inflation, he's forced to bump up prices. Dewees said a sack of chile went up by $4. He's tried his best to keep things at a minimum.
