The Most-Googled Movie Homes

Sometimes you’re watching a movie and you’re so interested in the house shown in it, you have to stop and look it up online to see if it’s real. Well, a new study from real estate company LA Homes reveals the most Googled movie homes and how many searches they get.

Topping the list as the most searched for movie home is the McCallister family home from “Home Alone.” It’s the iconic house where Kevin managed to outsmart two burglars, causing a lot of damage in the process, and it’s located outside Chicago in Illinois.

  3. “Hocus Pocus” found in Salem, Massachusetts - 12-thousand searches per month

  5. “Edward Scissorhands” in Lutz, Florida - 5,300 searches per month
  6. “The Notebook” in Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina - 4,400 searches per month
  7. “The Goonies” in Astoria, Oregon - 3,300 searches per month
  8. “Nights In Rodanthe” on Hatteras Island, North Carolina - 2,800 searches per month
  9. “The Holiday” in Surrey, England - 2,600 searches per month
  10. “Scarface” in Montecito, California - 2,500 searches per month
