Thanks to “Barbie,” some vintage dolls in the Barbie world are seeing a big sales boost. Ken’s buddy Allan is a prime example. Before the movie came out, the 1963 doll fetched about $35 to $50 on eBay. Now you’ll have to deal with bidding wars and at least a $187 to $300 price tag. The now movie character is a fan favorite and now the doll is too. In case you didn’t know, Barbie doll collecting has been a thing for decades, but the market was flat for reselling until the movie hit theaters. Now is the time to sell if you’ve got classic Barbies!
