Jared Trujillo’s homemade haunted house is not for the faint of heart.
“I’m looking for a scare. We like to hear as many screams as we can during the night,” said Trujillo. Trujillo transforms his northeast Albuquerque front yard, and garage into a nightmarish destination every year. He knows he’s not alone.
“There’s hundreds of houses in Albuquerque that like to go all out for these holidays,” Trujillo said.
He’s making it easier to find those homes with an online map. It was first created to find Christmas displays during the pandemic, but Trujillo figured Halloween is just as popular.
