Taylor Getting Heat For Emitting 128 Tons Of CO2 Visiting Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have grabbed headlines with their whirlwind romance. As we told you previously, romance rumors started to bubble up around September…and in the three months since they’ve been practically attached at the hip. But all the travel required to see each other around the world has required a lot of traveling on planes…and apparently generated 138 tons of Co2!

Some are asking if their romance is worth all the pollution. According to Taylor Swift's Jets on Instagram, the singer has apparently used 12,622 gallons of jet fuel to see her new beau over just three months! She would need to plant more than 2,200 trees to offset her carbon footprint. A rep for Swift told “The Daily Mail” that “before the tour kicked off in March...Taylor purchased more than double the carbon credits needed to offset all tour travel.”

This isn’t the first time Swift has gotten some finger-wagging from eco-warriors. The artist was named the biggest celebrity CO2 polluter of the year in 2022 by British digital marketing firm Yard. Last year her reps pointed out other people used her plane which helped push up what looked like her carbon emissions.
