Universal Music Group Is Set To Pull Songs from TikTok

Things may sound different on TikTok for a while. Universal Music Group failed to reach a new deal with the social media service, and the contract expires today (January 31st).

UMG said in a statement that it "will cease licensing content to TikTok and TikTok Music services."

That means songs by artists like Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Alicia Keys, SZA, Steve Lacy, Drake, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Harry Styles, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Adele, U2, Elton John, J Balvin, Brandi Carlile, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan and Post Malone won't be available anymore on TikTok.
