KFC Unveils The Chizza And I Think I'm Here For It

Coming February 26, 2024, KFC is introducing a new Chizza (“cheet-za”) that has already been a big hit internationally.

Chizza is made with two 100% white meat Extra Crispy fried chicken filets topped with marinara sauce, melty mozzarella cheese, and crispy pepperoni. It was first introduced in the Philippines in 2015 and later introduced in Taiwan, Korea, India, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Mexico, and other countries. The new item goes on KFC menus nationwide on Monday, February 26th.

The KFC location at 242 E 14th St. in New York City will be a “Chizzeria” pop-up on Friday Feb.23-Feb. 24 from 1-9 p.m. ET for fans to try the new Chizza for free. The Chizza will be the only item on the menu at the pop-up and the rest of the US will see the new item on KFC menus on Monday, February 26.

KFC’s Blackberry Lemonade will also show up on menus temporarily to accompany the introduction of the Chizza as a combo option.
