McDonald’s Is Offering Quarter Pounders Again

Health officials say the number of e. coli cases linked to McDonald's is up to 75. The CDC says the outbreak has impacted people in 13 states and led to 22 hospitalizations. One person died in Colorado. McDonald's removed its quarter pounder hamburger from the menu at around a fifth of its locations in response to the outbreak, but says it will resume sales after testing ruled out the beef patties as the source of the outbreak. The onions served with the burgers have been identified as the e. coli source.
