NASA has been keeping an eye on an asteroid that could hit Earth in 2032. While the chances are still extremely slim, the probability of the impact has gone up since being discovered a few weeks back, now currently just over two-percent. The number has now almost doubled from an initial estimate in late January. NASA estimates that the asteroid, dubbed 2024 YR4, measures between 130 feet and 300 feet across. The impact would more than likely only cause local damage, not nearly enough to threaten the planet.
