Thousands of Hulu subscribers who tuned in to watch the Academy Awards missed the last two award presentations. This was the first time the Oscars were streamed and at one point Hulu dropped the coverage due to a technical issue. it came back up, but then minutes before “Anora” was announced as best picture, it again dumped. In a statement, Hulu said “This evening, we experienced technical and live stream issues on Hulu which impacted some Oscars viewers. We apologize for the experience and will make a full replay of the event available as soon as possible.”
