This is surprising ... When it comes to swearing in the office, women are guiltier than men. It’s not by much – 67% to 66% – but it seems women are happy to let the F-bombs fly.
In fact, Women in general are fans of cursing on the job, with 66% saying they curse at work and 33% saying they wouldn't work in an office that wouldn’t let them swear.
Here’s another surprising result of the survey by Wrike: Even though both sexes are fans of swearing, men have more sensitive ears. One in four males say they'd consider filing a complaint over nasty language, but only one in six women would go that far.
So why do women love to swear at work?
- 39% say they that cursing emphasizes their ideas.
- 36% say swearing simply shows their passion.
