With the cold snap that came through this weekend, your heater was probably really cranking out the heat. With the increased cost this winter for natural gas, here is some great info to save you money.

The experts say:

  • You should set your temp at 68 when you’re home.
  • You should also plan to have 8-10 hours a day when you set the temp about 10 degrees lower than that. Doing that will save you about 10% on your heating bill. I do this at night. The experts say this is a best time to do it as the cooler room with a warm bed helps you sleep better.
